Office Onboarding

Brief

The business had an employee onboarding handbook containing all the 'useful' information that a new employee would need to give them a headstart on their journey.

The handbook was underused, some employees were never issued it, and some left it in their bottom desk drawer and forgot about it. A better solution must exist!

Why not create a digital version and make it available in the onboarding training plan and on the company intranet, available at everyone's fingertips when they need it.

Challenge

Joining a new workplace can be very stressful. The challenge here was to put all the information that a new employee would need into one place, accessible when and where they need it.

Audience

This module is targeted at the new starters in the head office which has a head count of 150+ employees. On average, there was one new starter every couple of weeks.

Solution

Feedback was clear, there was an appetite for a digital handbook. Not a traditional 'linear' module but one that the user had full control over. One they could dip in and out of the sections they needed.
